关于Shania Twain《the woman in me》的介绍是这样的：1995年初，Shania Twain轰动性的专辑《The Woman in Me》正式发行，这张专辑里诞生出了多首冠军单曲，整个专辑的销量也持续走高，到1996年初的时候，这张专辑的北美总销量已经突破了600万张，并且打破了在美国乡村专辑榜占据冠军最多周数的纪录，到1996年末，这张专辑销量有增加300多万，总销量已近千万，这张专辑也为她赢得了第一座格莱美奖杯。1997年Shania Twain个人专辑《Come On Over》的发行把Shania Twain彻底推向了乡村流行音乐的顶峰，在这张无可阻挡的专辑推出之后，Shania Twain进行了两年的世界巡演做宣传推广，到1999年末的时候，专辑《Come On Over》的销量已经达到了令人惊异的3600万张！这张专辑也为她累计增添了四座格莱美奖杯。
